Sort Money

Delete your account and data

Sort Money, by Aditya Singh

In short. Your Sort Money account exists only if you turned on cloud backup by signing in with Google. Deleting it removes your cloud backup and your account. What's in the app on your phone stays until you delete it there.

In the app

  1. Open Sort Money and tap the settings button on Home to open Privacy and backup.
  2. Tap Delete cloud backup and account, then Delete.
  3. Google asks you to confirm it's you. Everything is deleted straight away.

On the web

  1. Tap Log in at the top of this site and sign in with the same Google account.
  2. Tap Delete my account and data at the bottom of the page, then Delete everything.

By email

Write to hello@sortmoney.in from the Gmail address you signed in with, and say you want your account deleted. We delete it within 30 days and reply when it's done.

What is deleted

Crash reports and usage counts aren't linked to your account or your name; they expire on their own (crash reports after 90 days, usage counts within 14 months). The data on your phone is deleted only when you delete it in the app (Privacy and backup, Delete all data on this phone) or uninstall it.
